Discover Our ClubHawaii Historical Bottle Collectors Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Wahiawa, Oahu, dedicated to the collection, study, and preservation of historical glass bottles and related artifacts from Hawaii and the broader Pacific region. Founded by passionate collectors who believe that every old bottle tells a story, our club serves as a gathering place for enthusiasts of all experience levels — from seasoned diggers to curious newcomers.
Our mission is to preserve Hawaii's unique glass heritage, promote the educational and historical value of antique bottle collecting, and foster a welcoming community of collectors across the Hawaiian Islands. We envision a Hawaii where the stories embedded in its historical bottles are recognized, studied, and celebrated as an important part of the islands' rich and diverse cultural history.
Hawaii's history is uniquely reflected in its bottles — from the early plantation era soda and medicine bottles to the distinctive Hawaiian-made glass of the 20th century. These artifacts connect us to the lives of the people who came before us, and they deserve to be preserved and shared. Our club exists to ensure that this fragile heritage is not lost, and that the joy of discovery is available to everyone.
We offer a range of programs and activities for collectors, historians, and anyone curious about Hawaii's glass heritage.
Organized digging expeditions to historical dump sites and archaeological locations across Oahu and the neighbor islands, guided by experienced members and conducted with full respect for property and history.
Expert assistance for members seeking to identify, date, and research their bottle finds, with access to our club's extensive reference library and the knowledge of our experienced collector community.
Annual bottle shows, swap meets, and educational presentations that bring the collecting community together and share the history of Hawaiian glass with the broader public.
The Hawaii Historical Bottle Collectors Club plays an important role in preserving the tangible history of the Hawaiian Islands.
